Story

After a sleepless night at Berggasthaus Alter Säntis (probably due to the altitude), we made our way down the mountain. The first part of the hike was rather technical. After passing Berggasthaus Rotsteinpass, the path got a lot flatter and easier. The highlight was, of course, the wildlife you see in the photos.

We also had a great lunch at Berggasthaus Meglisalp, but the prices were steeper than the ascent. As the hike is rather long and we had not slept at all, we could really feel the exhaustion kicking in during the descent through the woods right above Seealpsee. But of course, we simply pushed through.
